Our Student Ministry, which is affiliated with Reconciling Ministry Network, offers opportunities to have fun with peers while building relationships, growing in faith, and serving others within a safe and welcoming environment.

The Junior and Senior High Student Ministry is a welcoming and inclusive place for all, creating a space and time to engage in an age-appropriate games, discussions, and service projects.

Student Ministries Pasta Dinner & Silent Auction
April 29, 2023 @ 6 PM (Doors are open at 5:30 PM)
Please support Student Ministries Mission by joining a Pasta Dinner on Saturday, April 29, at 6 PM and/or donating silent auction baskets!
This is the biggest fundraising event for the student ministries’ mission, especially to support their mission trip to Give Kids the World in August this year.
Family-friendly dinner with salad, pasta, a cold beverage, and dessert will be served with tickets of $15 for adults and $5 for children under age 10. Online tickets are available with a button below, or you can buy tickets at the Welcome Center after Sunday services in a church.
The Silent Auction is part of fundraising for the Pasta Dinner evening. You can donate or buy Silent Auction baskets to support our students.
You can choose a theme for the basket and fill it out. Or individual items are welcome. If packing is not your gift, our team is also happy to help you. Any tangible or intangible items of $25 are appreciated for donating to the silent auction.
Please sign up for a silent auction donation and drop them off by April 23, 2023! We appreciate your help and support!

Whether you can join a summer mission trip or not, you can participate in Student Ministries’ mission efforts in various ways!

Our Give Kids The World Mission Trip is back for 2022! This mission trip is for all youth in Junior and Senior High. It takes students to Kissimmee, Florida, where they volunteer for Give Kids the World. Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization that provides anything and everything a family needs to bring joy to children with critical illnesses.

Senior High Student Mission Trip
Our Senior High students travel to several different locations in mission during the summer to serve and walk with people in other contexts. In recent years we have served in Costa Rica, Frakes/Kentucky, Eleuthera/Bahamas, Beverly/Kentucky through non-profit organizations building or maintaining facilities for the populations of certain communities.

Retreats
HUMC participates in two Youth Retreats each year. Both retreats are high energy events designed for youth in grades 6-12. Both weekends are filled with worship, speakers, workshops, and mission opportunities. Friendships are formed while the youth are deepening their faith.
Mid-Winter Advance
This event is held in January at Refreshing Mountain Retreat Center in Stevens, PA.
Mid-Winter Advance is Friday, January 27 - Sunday, January 29, 2023. The total cost includes; lodging, registration, food, and a shirt is $215.00 per person. The $100 non-refundable deposit is due November 20, along with the registration form and waiver. The final deposit of $115 is due December 18. There will be a meeting for all students, parents/guardians, and leaders on Monday, December 12 at 7PM.
Ignite
This event is held at the Wildwood Convention Center.
Ignite is Friday, September 30 - Sunday, October 2, 2022. It costs $185 a person; includes registration, hotel, t-shirt, and meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. The final payment of $85 is due Sunday, September 18.
