2024 Stephen Ministry Training
Become a Stephen Minister to deliver God's hope when someone needs it the most.
Stephen Ministers are laity who are trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.
Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.
HUMC offers Stephen Ministry training every other year and the next one will begin January 10, 2024. The training includes 25 sessions and the class will be offered 1st, 2nd, and 4th Wednesday at 7-8:30 PM and 3rd Saturday at 9 AM - 12 PM.
